I've been busy getting my Christmas cards done, still going, 

but have some in the mail, yay!

A mixture of  products used this year with some full of Stampin' Up!,
and others mixed.

These ones have used the Night Before Christmas cards and kit.
And I had fun with the

OnStage November 2019

I went to my first Stampin’ Up! OnStage event on Saturday.

Wow, we were in the Grand Ballroom in Sydney’s ICC,
where the lighting makes the ceiling look like stars. All glittery!

And on the screen is a sneak peek at the new catalogue coming out in January!

It was a great day of learning, recognition of achievements
and connecting with wonderful people.

Cute little gift box

Playing with my Stampin' Up!®  - Cute little gift box.

I've had fun this week trying out my new dies set.

The box is cut using a die from the Perfect Parcels die set,
then you join it together and decorate!

Suitable for a few chocolates or any gift that will fit!

A great idea for making your own Christmas gift boxes or
use as Table Treats on the Christmas Dinner table.

Or it could be a Birthday or other themed gift.

One of the things I am loving about using the Stampin' Range is how it can be mixed up and used together to create completely different and unique gifts.

I'm enjoying using the various tools as well.
I've been making cards for many years,
so have a variety of tools in my collection,
but haven't had anything as compact and multi functional as the 

Take Your Pick tool

Very handy for picking small bits and embellishments up at one end.
The other end has a mini spatula, to help lift edges up.
Turn it round and it has a pointy paper piercing tip,
helpful for removing tape backing, moving tiny bits into place,
placing dimensionals on embellishments, the list goes on.
The embossing stylus that comes in two sizes,
also fits in the same end and comes with it.

Then there is the brush that fits into the bigger end,
to roll over your intricate die cuts, to clean out the little bits.
This is sold separately and comes with foam pads to use it on.

Such a useful, easy to use tool!

Card making with my Granddaughter - Butterflies

This week has been busy with some fun activities!

I did some Stampin' Up!® card making with my grand daughter.

She punched the butterflies with a little bit of help from Nanna.

The size and shape of the punch made it very easy for her to handle.

We used Mini glue dots to stick them down.

The dots of glue are spaced apart along the paper strip so you can just push the bit of embellishment onto the dot to place it. No mess!

Then just place it on the card and push down to secure in place.

Very handy and doesn't take as much time as using the tear tape, peeling the backing off.

I use different glues depending on the project,
but I found the glue dots simple and easy to use for this one. 

And for a 3 year old - very easy and fun.
