T’was the Week Before Christmas . . .2020

And there was another COVID-19 outbreak in the Sydney Northern Beaches.

😷

Christmas plans have changed
and it will be a very quiet one this year.

So . . . plenty of time to make cards!

I’m still working on my Christmas ones,
then I will be playing with my products from the new catalogue and
Sale-A-Bration that starts 5th January 2021.

Here's some of them - Cute and lots of fun!

I finished up at my long time job last week – been there nearly 19 years!

It has been a great job and ministry. 

I’ve been very supported over the years and learnt heaps.

I’ve enjoyed helping others get the help they need and also helping adult students learn to use computers and supporting them through their studies.

It’s time for a change now though, so I will be exploring my new horizons.

I’ll be continuing in my By Fi Handcrafts handmade goods 

and my Stampin’ Up! Cards, and look forward to having a bit more time to create and run more classes.

OnStageAtHome - what a great weekend!

What a great weekend!

Started off on Thursday evening with

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo to open the night!

This gorgeous box was made by my Team Leader Mandy Witherby!

So cute and matching, and was filled with yummy treats. 

 

And an engraved Bone Folder with my name and the Gems picture.

So thoughtful and such a personalised, useful gift.

Got lots of goodies in our Swagbag

And made some Stamp and Share cards along with the live feed.

Some fast cardmaking!

Had everything pre cut and ready go beforehand.

So, lots of things to make now for the next catalogue launch.

November News from by Fi Handcrafts - Class Online and Free Catalogue mailout

Come and join the fun, 
getting into the festive spirit together!

The Christmas Countdown Project Kit comes with all the decorative things to put on the little 'drawers'. And then you can decorate the back of them as well to use for another occasion!

Even if you are not into the Christmas countdown thing, this Project kit can also be used as a gift to someone, ask friends to write little messages and pop them in each drawer! And add your ’gift’ to one drawer, makes it a ‘mystery drawer’ gift box.

Makes a great addition to a shelf or dressing table
to hold small trinkets or jewellery.

Included in the Class cost, I will be providing one sheet of 12 x 12 or 4 of the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (some choice is available - discuss when booking class), to cover the back of the 'drawers' as well. And also a Die cut Alphabet set.

Making Cloth Face Masks

This week is busy, making

This is not a surgical mask for PPE

I have added a Nose Wire pocket to remove the wire when needed.

Materials used: Cotton Quilting Fabrics, Non-Woven polyester iron on interfacing, Poly/Cotton thread.
Nose wire: Chenille Sticks - Polyester/Metal; Elastic/hair elastics* may vary due to supplies available
Hand wash in cold water if leaving the nose wire in.
Or take the wire out and cold machine wash in a wash bag.
